Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for a Sustainable School Demonstration ProjectJoppatowne High School Athletic Field - Ticket Booth WHEN? Friday, August 24, 2012 During Half-time of the JV Football Game WHY? To celebrate the official opening of the newly constructed ticket booth. A sustainable building that was designed and built for the school with 100% of the materials and labor donated. This is the first school building in Maryland to use Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) for above-grade walls. Pervious concrete pavement and multiple architectural finishes were used throughout the project. The building also incorporates a live green roof.
