Nominations are now being accepted for
Maryland concrete projects completed in 2009!
(Completed submittals must be received by March 26th, 2010)
The Maryland Chapter of the American Concrete Institute Awards Committee will recognize outstanding concrete projects at the Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 27th at the Engineering Society of Baltimore.
Maryland (please no Prince George’s County or Montgomery County) projects completed between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 may be nominated. Participants of the most outstanding projects will be awarded.
Nominations may be classified under the following categories:
| 1. SUSTAINABILITY | Exemplifies environmental stewardship |
| 2. PUBLIC BUILDINGS | Municipal, Cultural, Academic, Ecclesiastical, etc. |
| 3. COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS | Office, hotel, hospital, etc. |
| 4. TILT-UP BUILDINGS | Any type of building where tilt-up is used |
| 5. HEAVY CONSTRUCTION | Pavements, Bridge Structures, Public Works, etc. |
| 6. PARKING STRUCTURES | New construction |
| 7. RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS | Single Family, Townhouse, Condominiums, etc. |
| 8. REHABILITATION | Any of the categories listed |
| 9. ARCHITECTURAL / DECORATIVE | Used in any type of project |
| 10. MISCELLANEOUS | Any use of concrete structure or use of concrete not on the above categories |
